Rajshri Entertainment's Rajjat Barjatya to be the 'Do-It-All Producer at MIPTV 2014

MUMBAI: Rajjat Barjatya, MD & CEO, Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited, plans to take his company to the next level and play a bigger role on the global stage at the MIPTV conference 2014, which will be held in Cannes.

Barjatya will be one of the three speakers at the seminar 'The Future Of Production: The Do-It-All Producer' at the event. Explaining the purpose of the session, he said, "It focuses on the opportunities and challenges a creative producer faces, in today's multi-screen world. The producer has to understand every aspect of the creative, marketing and distribution process. A lot of skills come into play in such a scenario. The challenge with being a creative producer is that many roles are rolled into one and one has to master them all." He is the only Indian speaker across all seminars at MIPTV 2014.

Speaking about how India is doing in terms of producing content for multiple platforms, Barjatya said, "Indian viewers have an insatiable appetite for content. The digital entertainment industry is exploding in terms of content production and consumption. There is a demand for content across genres and languages, from a 3 minute nursery rhyme to a 3 hour feature film. We see tremendous opportunity for content produced in India that is relevant for a global audience."

The progress curve of Rajshri has been on a crest for the last few years. "We produce, acquire and distribute premium digital content across 25+ content verticals that cover a gamut of genres and languages. This content is available across 50+ of the world's leading digital platforms anywhere, anytime and on any device!" exclaimed Barjatya.

MIPTV 2014 will be held from 7 to 10 April at the Palais des Festivals, France.
