T-Series adds Jagga Jasoos, Kick and Happy New Year to its hat

MUMBAI: After a streak of successes with films like 'Highway', 'Jai Ho', 'Yaariyan', 'Queen' and 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' amongst several others, music label giant T-Series has acquired the music rights for a few upcoming hotly-tipped films like 'Jagga Jasoos', 'Kick' and 'Happy New Year'.

According to reports, the label's head honcho- Bhushan Kumar confirmed the acquisitions and informed that apart from Jagga Jasoos, Kick and Happy New Year, T-Series will be getting the music rights for many more films.

Jagga Jasoos, a Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif film will have music composed by Pritam. He is the composer for T-Series' home production and upcoming films 'Roy' and 2013's 'Yaariyaan'. The music for Shah Rukh Khan starrer- 'Happy New Year' will be given by Vishal Shekhar and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

T-series released the soundtrack for the upcoming Chetan Bhagat adaptation, '2 States' on 19 March. The music of the film is composed by the 'Dil Chahta Hai' trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

The label, which is also a film production and distribution company, has promoted several films over the years. It plans to extend the scope of marketing and use different avenues to promote these films. The scale of marketing and promotions gets bigger and better.
