MUMBAI: Post an energetic and entertaining Super Bowl final, American singer songwriter Price, made a guest appearance on the Fox comedy show New Girl. The 'Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad' singer appeared as himself on the show and went from singer to relationship guru during his cameo in the episode.

The Super Bowl is touted to be one of the year's most watched television events in the U.S, and is known to give shows that follow it some prime time viewership. Perhaps this is why Price used the show as a platform to debut his new track 'PretzelBodyLogic'. According to reports, the new track is part of an upcoming album titled 'Plectrum Electrum', which the singer will be releasing in 2014.

Earlier, when the show learnt that it would be receive the coveted timeslot, makers of the show immediately set about planning an impressive episode. It was also revealed that the singer reached out to the show at around the same time, making it easier to draw up an idea what the episode would be like.

The 55 year old singer is no stranger to the Super Bowl and all its hype. Back in 2007, he was signed on to perform the half time show, where he rendered some of his classic hits. His performance of 'Purple Rain' in particular, makes his Super Bowl half time show one of the best in recent times.
