Naya records Arabic version of Dhoom Macha Le for Dhoom 3

MUMBAI: An audience that film makers in Bollywood have recently started paying attention to is the Middle Eastern market. Yashraj films recently got on board Lebanese singer Naya to sing the Arabic version of Dhoom Macha Le, the revised title track for the third film in the Dhoom series.

In the attempt to tap international markets, the sensuous Naya will be singing the Arabic translation of the title track to attract a larger crowd. So much for some Arabic seasoning to our Bollywood tadka!

Pritam, who remains the composer of this massive Bollywood franchise, seems to look beyond Indian boundaries. This is not the first time Yashraj has roped in an international artiste. For the first Dhoom, music director Pritam had American-Thai singer Tata Young sing Dhoom Dhoom for the first film in 2004.

The song has been released in two versions- Hindi and Arabic. Naya’s version will be an additional track in the album. The video, uploaded on 7 December, has Katrina Kaif dancing to the song. The track is expected to be available for download on iTunes on 9 December. The makers sure know the anticipation levels amongst the audience and are doing well to build it.

One of the most anticipated films of 2013, ‘Dhoom 3’ stars with Aamir Khan and Katrina playing a clown thief and an acrobat respectively.
