NEW DELHI: DJ Khushi won the “Most Popular Bollywood DJ of India” award in ‘The Nightlife Convention 2013’ over the weekend with a rich repertoire of remixing Bollywood songs. The first ever event of its kind, the Convention held in Resort Rio in Goa discussed various issues plaguing the nightlife in metros. The event was organised by www.mypurplemartini.com, India's first social networking nightlife portal.

DJ Khushi rose to fame through big banner projects like Ra One (Chammak Challo by Akon), Chikni Chameli, Ek Tha Deewana - A R Rehman composition (Hosanna), among others. His recent works include Boss Remix, Aashiqui 2’s CHAHUN MAIN YA NAA official remix, Student of the Year’s VELE official remix, etc. He has also tied-up with international artistes with her first international release 'Unleashed'.

DJ Khushi’s strength lies in spinning sounds that vary from retro to hip hop and his capability to handle the Bollywood sounds and Electronic Dance Music.
