Days starts off on a slow melodious note and gradually changes track. Darshan's
drum's are loud, crazed and nasty which add spice and build up the tone. You definitely
won't end up feeling bored or jaded after listening to this track. Habit
opens up with a good start with some crisp Bass guitar notes which often go on
with fine guitar solo's which brings back memories of the Ritchie Blackmore and
Steve Morse (Deep Purple) combination, taking in account the fact that Chandresh
plays the Lead and Bass. A very innovative style sykes up the track. The
lyrics of Desire are the only scientifically bona fide track for your ears
- "I saw an angel with the Devil, Dancing away through the night". One
might get a feeling that the music is not much innovative, but credit goes to
Suraj as he sings in a upper register voice which really fits well with his Indie-Rock
style. Human
Beings is likely to bring a sense of mixed emotions, either you will love
it for its lyrics or hate it for its mumbling, rambling and diddling around of
the track. It seems to be more of a catchy Pop-Indie-Rock song which surely suggests
that it's been made for the masses. It loses momentum as the song picks up its
war cries. Definetly
Jigsaw would be the best song of the album. The vocals are super smooth
which jam well with the guitars and drums with a brilliant solo lead by Guitarist
Chandresh. In the scheme of things, this song is, by all means, something different
from the rest and it does pack a mean memorable punch. Suraj also deserves a mention
for the changing settings while he's shredding to a cleaner, sharper tone that
sounds absolutely whammy. It's
Raining Now starts out slow and moody and tries to pick pace gradually but
Suraj and Chandresh make it an emotional highlight with their tones and build
it up into a saga of nostalgia, regret and loneliness. Sorry guys, but this doesn't
fit the bill at all. The
album's last song Now is an ear catching, rather emotional guitar instrumental
in this album. Chandresh's guitar cries, wails and moans which steals away the
song structure from Suraj's vocal delivery. Overall,
it's a good record with some great style. Better Days, Human Beings and Jigsaw
are the signature songs on this batch. They are more than a band who can play,
which immediately separates them from gazillions of Indian Indie Rock imitators.
