Sirius Satellite Radio has launched an exclusive channel, Radio Mom, to mark the
100th anniversary of Mother's Day. The channel will broadcast for one week beginning
3 May and will run through Mother's Day, Sunday, 11 May. Radio
Mom on channel 119 will be devoted to personal messages, greetings, dedications
from listeners about their mothers and mother figures. The messages of callers
will be collected through a special "Radio-Mom" call in number. | |

, it will also include individual reflections, stories and memories about their
mother's from Sirius hosts including Martha Stewart, Barbara Walters, Deepak Chopra,
Richard Simmons, Jane Pratt, Jim Breuer, and Mary O. Radio
Mom will also broadcast a variety of shows dedicated to Mother's Day including
"New Mother's Club," a one-hour show devoted to new moms and mothers-to-be,
"Momma's Comedy Club," a one-hour show hosted by stand up comedian moms
and "Mom's Little Angels," a one-hour show hosted by elementary school
students celebrating their mothers. |
