registration forms for the race are available at a number of outlets across the
city including Radio Mirchi office on Bannerghatta Road. The forms are also available
online at www.sunfeastworld10k.indiatimes.com. The registration fee is Rs.200
for 10K runs (Elite men run, Elite women run, Open run and Majja Run) and Rs.100
for senior citizens run and the Wheel Chair event. The special category of Majja
run has been created for those who want to run for fun and cannot complete the
entire race. As
the official media partner for the run, Radio Mirchi has a host of activities
lined up. The on-air mascot for the race is 'Benne Dose Babu', a lazy, 120 kgs,
unfit guy who has decided to get in shape for the run. Morning hour of 7-8 am
has been dedicated to uninterrupted high tempo music which people can listen to
while training for the run. Babu is also interacting with various celebrities
to discuss the secret of their good health and fitness.
Additionally,
Mirchi is also involved in hosting the biggest Pasta party of Bangalore , the
'Get Active- Expo' from 14 to 18 May. In the Expo, as people come to collect their
running gear (Bibs, Time chips etc), there will be entertainment and games organized
for the entire family.
Mirchi
plans to do a live broadcast from the venue on the 15-16 May where RJs will interact
with the listeners and host a Teen RJ hunt. |
