DELHI: Former member of the Beatles group Sir Paul McCartney
will give away his latest album with editions of the

Last
year, the Mail on Sunday gave away Prince's "Planet
Earth" album for free, and more recently UB40 gave
a 10 track sampler away as one of the paper's supplements,
according to a report by Gigwise.com quoted by the World
Association of Newspapers.
McCartney's album has sold nearly 100,000 copies in
the United Kingdom to date, and peaked at number five
on the albums chart, MusicWeek reported.
Stephen Miron, managing director for the Mail on Sunday,
said that the deal will "prove a shot in the arm
for the album's fortunes," the Music Week article
stated. Details on the terms of the deal have not been
released
