MUMBAI: Despite a year of personal turmoil, troubled British singer Amy Winehouse's finances seem to be in order as she joins the elite rank of music millionaires. According to 2008's The Sunday Times Rich List, the 24 year-old Londoner has amassed a £10 million fortune.

The bee-hived, soul singer who had a troubled private life and battled drug problems may find it difficult to reach "the dizzy heights of icons like Paul McCartney," says Philip Beresford, editor of the annual rich list.

"Winning Grammys has given her a really good profile in the United States. She has such a smooth voice but let's hope she doesn't blow it all," says Beresford.

Amy made to the young music rich list for the first time, thanks to the
resounding success of her album "Back to Black".

The X-factor winner turned global star Leona Lewis, is another new entrant to the under-30 list rich list. Having secured both a No. 1 single and album in the US, the 23-year-old from North London is worth £6 million.

Dhani Harrison, 29, the son of the late Beatle George Harrison tops the
Young Music Millionaire's list, with a fortune of £160 million, owing to the inherited wealth. The celebrated violinist Vanessa-Mae is second with £32 million.

But the newcomers have a long way to go before they match the wealth of
established music millionaires. Their fortunes are dwarfed in the overall category of Britain's Top 50 Music Millionaires. Clive Calder, the founder of Zomba Records, remains at the top of the list for another year with a wealth of £1,300 million. The prolific composer Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber occupies second place, with £750 million.

After a costly divorce from second wife Heather Mills, Sir Paul McCartney's worth fell from £725 million last year to £500 million, but the former Beatle remains in third spot.

Pop Queen Madonna and her film-maker husband Guy Ritchie come in at sixth place with an estimated fortune of £300 million.
