MY FM, the Bhaskar Group radio station, found its first
grand prize winner for its MY FM My LCD contest in the
city of Indore on October 19. An ardent 94.3 MY FM fan,
Ms. Alpana Vani, became the first countrywide winner
of the much desired LCD screen. Other winners for the
contest include Dipesh Agarwal from Indore, Aditya,
a college student from Ahmedabad and Mr. Vivek Sharma
from Jaipur. Mr. Anil Khera, Director - Sales, Sansui,
himself gave away a Sansui LCD to the Jaipur winner.

 The
contest started in all thirteen 94.3 MY FM stations
across the country, close to the Dussehra festival.
Initially, the plan was to give away 1 LCD per station,
but owing to the tremendous response for the activity,
the radio channel now plans to give away 34 LCDs during
the contest across its 13 operating stations.
The
contest has left mobile phones ringing at the 94.3 MY
FM stations 24x7. The Surat station has been receiving
7000 SMS entries every day, as against 8000 SMSes received
everyday at the Chandigarh station. Besides the mega
prize, participants are also taking away gifts like
mobile phones, Fastrack Sunglasses, Titan watches, leather
bags etc.

Harrish M. Bhatia, Business Head, 94.3 MY FM, "The
response that we have got was beyond our expectations.
The fervor of the contest seems to be rising with every
passing day. That is why we have decided to give away
almost threefold the number of LCDs, as also to increase
the number of other gifts."

"The response has been unbelievable and we weren't
prepared for it. All our stations have been working
overtime to keep listeners constantly updated about
the winners."
