The GoaWire Goa Music Festival which kicks off on Easter Sunday - 8th April with the first grand inaugural event at Elephant Art Cafe, Anjuna Beach is the biggest Music Fest to be held in Asia and is set to rock and shake Goa and Goans out of the hot summer sun-induced lethargy.

The Sitar of the Dilli Gharana - Performance by Suhel Saeed. 'Gharanas are families of musicians. Gharana members are linked by ties of blood, but, even in the past, and increasingly now, the gharana also includes disciples unrelated by blood to the core gharana family. As the word suggests, musical gharanas are families-'real' or forged. The ties between ustad and shagird, even in the absence of an actual blood-tie, are as those of parent and child.
