A range of stellar jazz musicians accompanied by a full-blown horn section, will perform timeless Broadway hits from ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘The Sound of Music’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and many more. Musicians will include Rajeev Raja (Flute), Rahul Wadhwani(Piano/Keys), Karl Peters (Bass), Aron Nyiro (Drums) and Adil Manuel(Guitar) with Ramon Ibrahim (Trombone), Bosco Monsorate (Trumpet)and Jarryd Rodrigues (Saxophone) rounding off the horn section. In a continuing, popular series of concerts from ‘The Beatles: Jazzified! ‘to ‘Jazz Goes to the Movies!’-the spotlight now moves to Broadway. This concert will present a musical cornucopia that literally traces the chronology of Broadway’s most loved musicals. Over the course of the evening, you’ll hear evergreen melodies from Broadway musicals, freshly arranged with swing, verve and syncopation accompanied by scintillating solos from the maestros onstage.
