By now a staple in Bombay's music scene, Harkat's monthly Living Room Concert aka Wohnzimmerkonzert presents the charming singer-songwriter Bhrigu Sahni, straight from Berklee. Bhrigu Sahni has been a professional musician for 5 years. After graduating from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston he now works as a singer songwriter and guitarist based out of New York and India. Having graduated from Berklee in Boston, he moved to New York where very soon he was invited to play at key local venues such as The Blue Note Jazz Club, Joes Pub and The Lincoln Center outdoors festival. His unique style of playing the guitar has gathered much attention. His first album, What Is Now was released in New York in 2016 and can be listened to on Apple Music, Bandcamp and Spotify. His second album, now under preparation is due to come out at the end of this year. The concept of this album reflects on various states of mind, from trying to stay in the ever-fleeting present moment to the release one finds by traveling from one place to another.
