Barkha Ritu is an endeavor to celebrate the most awaited and cherished season of the year. Banyan Tree initiated the annual Barkha Ritu festival in the year 2002 in Mumbai; since then this festival has given music lovers across India a rich cultural experience of the monsoon ragas. Now, in its 16th year, Barkha Ritu is the only national thematic classical music festival presenting the beauty of the monsoons in a musical interpretation.
