Drawing from the depth of Indian musical traditions as well as the innovation of contemporary Western music, Prem Joshua and Band create music that is original, immersive, emotional and bursting with energy.
With a sound that embraces a variety of cultures and conventions from across the world, this fusion ensemble combines rhythms from Morocco with beats from London dancefloors, experiments with Eastern European rhythms and jazz, and splices together chillout and Sufi verses to leave their audiences completely mesmerized.
Whether you’re an electronica enthusiast, a jazz connoisseur or a fan of funk – Prem Joshua and Band offers all of these and more: a musical experience that is universal in appeal and singular in its style.
Supporting Prem Joshua and Band are Bangalore-based rockstars – Parvaaz. Well known on the local indie rock circuit, Parvaaz blends the mythical and folkloric traditions of Urdu and Kashmiri lyrics with heady rock and roll reminiscent of Led Zeppelin, along with some psychedelic blues thrown in to give you a guaranteed head rush.
