About Black Letters: Black letters is an Alternative Rock Act from India having an international audience. Considered as an “Artist to Watch Out for” by Rolling Stone India in 2012, Black Letters is now known to be one of the most appreciated bands in India. Their debut album ’Shapes On The Wall’ is one of the most well received modern Rock records in the country. Black Letters have been featured in over a number of shows on radio stations like Croydon Radio, Amazing Radio, EGH Radio, Uckfield FM, and The Shift Radio About Blek: Blek broke on to the Indian indie circuit as one of the 5 winners of the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds, a nationwide talent hunt for best emerging Indian artists in 2011. The band released their debut EP “Hexes + Drama & Other Reasons for Evacuation” as a free download (available on ennui.BOMB Records: www.ennuidotbomb.com ) on 14th February 2012 and has since been one of the most buzzing acts on the Indian indie music circuit. Backed with super reviews for the EP from all quarters, Blek gigged extensively covering most of the country. Blek is a regular on the Indian festival circuit with some notable performances being the Ziro Festival of Music in Arunachal Pradesh, the G.O.D. Music Festival, Pune, the Hornbill Music Festival in Nagaland, the NH7 Weekender Festival – Bangalore (all in 2012), along with the India Bike Week Music Festival in Goa and the Indie March Festival at Counterculture Bangalore in 2013. About Unohu Formed by self-taught siblings Sarthak and Shashwat Karkare on vocals/ guitars and drums respectively, they were later joined by Yohann Coutinho on Bass. The band started off with Sarthak and Shashwat jamming in their bedroom, Yohann joined in later. They recently won the first edition of Bandcubator, a band competition hosted by The High Spirits Cafe, Pune beating 20 bands from Mumbai and Pune. About Babel EP ‘Babel’ is everything the band is all about- variety, vibe, experimentation and punch. It stands as a lyrical response to frustrating inactivity coupled with political anxiety. “It is a break from our earlier EP Asunder, specifically in terms of moving beyond the college mold and carving our own sound,” says the band about their new EP. “It is also distinct with respect to its lyrical message, it is political and speaks out fiercely against a system that creates and sustains false leaders”
