Orissa hosts classical music festival

Obama musical planned in England

MUMBAI: Performances of the new stage musical "Obama on My Mind" are scheduled to begin at Islington's Hen and Chickens Theatre in March, Playbill.com said. U.S. crime writer and filmmaker Teddy Hayes, who has lived in England for the past 13 years, penned the book, music and lyrics for the show about the new American President Barack Obama. Previews for the musical are to begin March 3, while the show's opening night is slated for March 5.

'Radio One maintains performance in Q3 to grow at 72% year to date'

MUMBAI: 2009 Radio One 94.3FM, the joint venture between Mid-day Multimedia and BBC worldwide, announced its financial results for the Third quarter ended Dec 31st where in revenue has grown 72% From April to Dec last year. The company's PBT operations (before license fee) for April to Dec 31st is positive and has grown by 108% over the corresponding period last year. In the third quarter Radio one grew 49% from Q3 last year where in the Industry has fallen by 6% in the 6 cities as compared to Q3 last year as mentioned by the company.
