MUMBAI: Are you ready for the Sound of Success? That's right, the S.O.S Band is set to take the stage at the Pavilion inside Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel on Friday, May 22 at 8p.m.

The electro-funk band of the 1980s is best known for their first hit single, "Take Your Time (Do It Right)," which was released in 1980 and sold over two million copies. Other favorites of the S.O.S Band include, "Just Be Good to Me," "Just the Way You Like It," "High Hopes," and many more.

"The S.O.S Band is going to put on a great show. Our guests will groove to their old favorites," said Nancy Herrington, Director of Marketing at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.

Showtime on May 22 is at 8p.m. and doors open at 7p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $20 and can be purchased at Bizzute Gifts at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.

The band was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977. The original group members included Willie "Sonny" Killebrew (saxophone), Billy Ellis (flute), Jason "T.C." Bryant (keyboards), Bruno Speight (guitar), John Simpson (bass), James Earl Jones III (drums), and Mary Davis (lead vocals, keyboards). It was originally known as Santa Monica,but later changed its name to The S.O.S. Band.
