Sony Music leads Grammys 2015 with over 40 percent of nominations across top 5 categories

MUMBAI: With an unmatched string of successful international hits throughout the year, Sony Music leads the Grammy Nominations with 40 percent of the top 5 nominations across the most coveted categories including: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Solo Performance.

The album that took every fan by surprise Beyoncé - Beyoncé as well as the album that made everyone Happy 'Girl' - Pharrell Williams are nominated for album of the year.  Record of the year nominations have gone to the thought provoking 'Chandelier' by Sia & the song that all girls love; 'All About That Bass' by Meghan Trainor. While the same artists & songs are also nominated for the prestigious song of the year and best pop solo performance. This category also includes John legend's ubiquitous ode to his wife 'All of Me'.  The last of the top 5 categories best new artist includes the sister act from America Haim.
