IndiEarth At The Park returns

MUMBAI: IndiEarth forges forward on its mission to provide a stage for Chennai's live independent music scene with the return of IndiEarth At The Park – IndiEarth’s monthly music nights that aim to showcase an eclectic blend of Indian and international independent artists. This Saturday 4th of April will see performances by bass DJ Su Real and the collaborative project of Nicholson x Fuzzy Logic at The Park Chennai.

IndiEarth’s monthly independent music gig series – IndiEarth At The Park - is back this April at The Park Chennai, showering the city with some of the country’s most exciting artists in the independent music sceneat the moment. This month’s edition will see bass music meeting jazz piano motifs with a touch of live electronica –as of Nicholson x Fuzzy Logic take over the stage and DJ Su Real takes over the console.

Singer/songwriter Nicholson is a jazz pianist whose music is rather sparse and lyrical, bringing together seamlessly the worlds of electronic and organic, telling stories of love and loss and longing in his melancholic compositions. His mesmerising vocals and whimsical compositions have earned this artist much critical acclaim – and performing at IndiEarth At The Park will be his first time performing in Chennai. Fuzzy Logic aka Arfaaz Kagalwala is a multifaceted artist who blends quirky samples and familiar noise into a genre-defying act that aims to make electronic music more personal. The two artists’ new collaborative project – Nicholson x Fuzzy Logic – bring together their two diverse and unique approaches to sound, to create a seamless sonic whole. They will playat Aqua, on the terrace of The Park overlooking the city of Chennai, at 8.30pm.

Su Real's sound swings from all things heavy and bass to Trap, Moombahton, and Kuduro, blending these vibes with hip-hop, dancehall, house, disco, soul, funk, and R&B. After spending extensive time in New York and Montreal, he returned to India in 2008 to continue pushing these sounds. He will play at the Leather Bar at The Park from 11pm onwards.
