MUMBAI: Reeling off arguably his most impressive year to date, New York native Lodato looks to close out the month of March with his first official offering of 2019. In joining forces alongside recent Hardwell-collaborator and Dutch songstress PollyAnna, the duo presents their newest creation with Sober. The track is out now through Enhanced Recordings and is available via all digital streaming platforms.

The dynamic pairing unquestionably strikes a dance pop goldmine that boasts a bouncing bassline and precision-carved vocal chops, both supplanted by an entrancing vocal delivery from vocalist PollyAnna. The instantaneously infectious lyrics will have fans memorizing each and every word from the first listen to the last as the future house chorus arrives in tandem with the dawn of the festival calendar.

Commenting on the collaboration, Lodato said, “I wanted to find the contrast between an uplifting song that you can’t help but dance to, while not shying away from expressing darker feelings. I think music is an amazing thing to help you process whatever you are going through. I hope this song does just that for everyone out there that needs to hear it.”

PollyAnna also said, “I wanted to write a song about all the things you do when your heart aches and you're trying to feel normal again. We've all been there going out drinking and dancing just trying to forget. It’s bittersweet.”

With multiple number one hits secured in his discography throughout his illustrious dance music tenure, Lodato has seen more than his fair share of success over the years. The New Yorker found himself at the top position of Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart at the end of 2018 with his collaboration alongside VASSY with Doomsday, which found itself in DJ sets across the spectrum including the likes of Timmy Trumpet, Mike Williams, Tritonal and many more. It’s safe to say that Lodato’s widespread support is a long way from undeserved and as the producer continues to push out music at an enviable rate, Lodato is certainly primed outpace his 2018 accolades.
