'Just Us' deliver brand new single 'I Feel Good Love'

MUMBAI: DJ and production duo Just Us have unveiled their new single, ‘I Feel Good Love’ featuring Daniel Caplin, out now via Polydor/Universal.

Featuring a vocal sample of James Brown’s classic ‘I Got You (I Feel Good)’, Just Us’s track I Feel Good Love flaunts a hooky guitar riff and soft percussive tones, underpinning Daniel’s sultry vocals.

Steven Lee and Carl Kennedy, better known as Just Us flew into the spotlight last year with their debut single, Cloudbusting. The duo’s clever reimagining of Kate Bush’s 1985 original received strong radio support from Kiss FM, Capital FM and BBC Radio One. The track hit #1 on the Radio One Dance Chart, earned Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’, Danny Howard’s ‘Future Anthem’ and gained support from key tastemakers including Pete Tong, Nick Grimshaw and Greg James.

Before forming Just Us, Steven and Carl released tracks individually across top electronic labels including Spinnin’, Armada, Ministry of Sound and Toolroom over the years. Under his Lee-Cabrera moniker, a teenage Steven dropped ‘Shake It (Move A Little Closer)’, which peaked in the Top 10 of the UK Official Singles Chart back in 2003.

Meanwhile, Carl’s catalogue of dance floor staples include ‘The Love You Bring Me’ and the classic ‘Ride The Storm’ feat. Roachford. Both tracks along with ‘Shake It (Move A Little Closer)’ received ‘Essential New Tune’ accolades from Pete Tong.

Away from the studio, Just Us have maintained a busy international DJing schedule, having played some of the biggest venues around the world with residencies in Ibiza, Sydney, Las Vegas and New York. The duo has also made festival appearances at Ultra Music Festival, Stereosonic and Liberty Fest and have just begun a weekly DJ residency at The Gospel in New York City.

I Feel Good Love demonstrates the superb talents of Just Us combined with Daniel’s rich singing abilities. Equally comfortable on stage and in the studio, the new single is a testament to both Steven and Carl’s eclectic producing styles and is set to build on the duo’s tremendous success.
