Blinkie and Crazy Cousinz join forces to drop the last summer anthem 'Blue Skies'

MUMBAI: The prolific London-based producers Blinkie and Crazy Cousinz have teamed up to drop their new collab, Blue Skies, which is out now on 2TE Records.

A tribal house banger, Blue Skies builds upwards from its intricate rhythms with the addition of an intoxicating topline and throwback, nineties-tinged house synths. As energising as it is atmospheric, Blue Skies is a quintessential soundtrack for the end of summer.

Tune into the song here:

Blue Skies comes from two producers with a strong track record in delivering underground smashes. Blinkie fired to prominence with his debut track, Don’t Give Up (On Love), which was certified Silver for exceeding 300,000 sales and has hit 16 million streams at Spotify. Its longevity was boosted with remixes courtesy of Tom Zanetti and K.O Kane as well as James Hype and Jammer.

He followed the track’s success with Halfway on his own Edendale Road label (now PXL Records) and ‘Save Me (Against All Odds)’ on Rinse FM’s label, plus remixes for artists including Major Lazer, B Young, Sigala and Anne-Marie. Blinkie is also influential in the world of premium men’s fashion; with his Profit X Loss clothing lines sported by UK and US stars alike such as 50 Cent, Yo Gotti, Bugzy Malone, Young M.A. and Styles P.

Crazy Cousinz – aka Flukes – is a classically trained musician who has produced for artists such as Tinie Tempah. After Drake memorably sampled the UK funky anthem ‘Do You Mind’ on his global smash ‘One Dance’, Crazy Cousinz released ‘No Way’ with a triple-threat of special guests in the shape of Lily McKenzie, Yxng Bane and Mr Eazi. His previous track ‘Wifey (Feelings)’ continued such high profile features, this time from Yungen and M.O.

His own productions have been complemented by a major DJing career which has taken him across most of the world’s leading clubs. Between No Way, One Dance and his UK funky tracks, Crazy Cousinz has demonstrated an ability to thrive with an eclectic mix of sounds.
