Goja brings Italian dance music on their STMPD Records

MUMBAI: The diversity of Martin Garrix’s burgeoning STMPD RCRDS label seems to know no bounds. From one release to the next there’s no guessing what the style will be. The only consistent element is the unfailing quality of every track. Italian duo Goja are up next with a phenomenal EP that’s packed with energy and forward-thinking production.

Do You Know kicks off the release with a unique hybrid of electro and big room club music and moves seamlessly from a moody atmospheric groove to sorrowful piano chords in the break. Blow Up is similarly impossible to pin down genre-wise. Sci-fi electronic music at its best. Kumani is a collaboration with fellow Italian talent SLVR and is the most direct cut of the three. The track will slay any house music-loving dance floor. GOJA are simply making some of the freshest dance music around.

Goja about the EP, “This EP wasn’t planned and the tracks were produced to be singles. Only at the end, it made sense to bring them together cause the vibe and the feeling in the tracks, even at different bpms, were similar.''

Goja were first spotted by Dyro. Since then their music has been supported by the likes of David Guetta, DJ Snake, Diplo and Dillon Francis, and they have played alongside Guetta and Axwell. GOJA is drawing the attention of the most important players of the industry and is nominated by YourEDM for one of the most promising upcoming music artists of 2018. In short, they are destined for big things indeed.
