Lakshay and Aayush Mohan to perform at the 30th concert Udayswar@Prithvi

MUMBAI: Growing interest and enthusiasm amongst audiences of all ages to attend morning concerts led Pancham Nishad and Prithvi Theatre both active in promoting and developing the performing arts to come together to present Udayswar@Prithvi, a concert of morning ragas of the second prahar.  Held on every third Sunday of the month this concert series features various vocal and Instrumental artiste. The intimacy and excellent acoustics of Prithvi Theatre offers an unadulterated exchange of music between the artiste and the audience making it a refreshing and rejuvenating experience unlike any other in today's age of microphones and amplification.

This 30th concert of Udayswar@Prithvi promises to bring music lovers a captivating mélange of melodious tunes performed by Lakshay Mohan (Sitar) and Aayush Mohan (Sarod and sitar and sarod duet) with co-artistes Anuradha Pal (Tabla) on 15 April 7:30 am onwards at Prithvi Theatre. The event would be conducted for one hour thirty minutes, with entry for children above eight  years only at 250/-.

The duo has gained immense following among music lovers for their innovative and interactive style of duet playing. After listening to Lakshay and Aayush at the Ravi Shankar Centre in the year 2012, Pandit Ravi Shankar decided to launch them for their debut USA tour under his foundation. Lakshay and Aayush are the first Indians to be invited to perform at The Grammy Museum, Los Angeles and have performed at prestigious venues and festivals around the globe including the Learn Quest Music Conference in Boston and Sawai Gandharva Festival in India.
