Luvian unveils 'Bones' featuring Jack Hawitt

MUMBAI: Luvian unveils the stunning music video of his beautifully crafted single Bones featuring Jack Hawitt.

Shot and directed by Luvian himself, the picturesque visual centres around two lovers who escape reality, travelling by train and plane to a far-away haven, enjoying each other's company amid a flurry of natural locations.

Serving as a visual accompaniment to his latest release, Luvian says, “With the Bones video I really wanted to convey a sense of contrast between isolation and intimacy - the before and after a relationship. I tried to incorporate as much of my natural surroundings as I could. The scale of some of the vistas near me is immense. This really helped to solidify the idea of isolation and I tried to film when I knew no one else would be around.”

A dreamy embodiment of work, blending playful keys, guitar riffs and complex beat-making with the rich vocals of Hawitt, the sonics of Bones blend together to form a production filled with character and atmosphere.

Luvian quickly gained recognition through his Sound cloud uploads, including the likes of Valley Girl and his unofficial remix of Bon Iver’s Holocene to name a few, he released his debut EP Memories in 2016, with tracks Forest and Dayglo surpassing five million Spotify streams collectively.

The music video is a cinematic introduction to his eagerly-awaited second EP, A Time & Place due out later this year, the visual displays Luvian’s craftsmanship not only as a recording artist, but as a director also. Gearing up for an exciting year ahead, Bones is set to feed into the excitement already surrounding his already flourishing career.
