Violetta Zironi releases 'Toast' which draws her inspiration from folk and americana

MUMBAI: Beginning to write music at the tender age of 16 Violetta has already forged an impressive, earthy sound drawing her inspirations from folk and americana.

The latest release Toast is the new single from Violetta’s upcoming Half Moon Lane EP produced by Tim Tautorat (The Kooks), where her continental folk roots have blossomed alongside a flavour of the US; a swirling, emotive track, Violetta layers her gorgeous vocals reminiscent of Birdie or Katie Melua together with her frank, playful storytelling.

Speaking on the track Zironi states, “It’s about being emotionally removed from any relationship, being afraid to be vulnerable and to put yourself out there. When stealing hearts, all you really want is someone to steal yours."
