Martin Solveig unveils remix package for hit summer single 'All Stars'

MUMBAI: A vibrant remix package for Martin Solveig’s huge summer hit, All Stars has now been released, featuring reworks from APEXAPE, Freedo, Mercer, BROHUG and Creange, each displaying their own unique interpretations of the original.

Pumping a theatrical guitar string-led melody into the reworking, Freedo laces the track with a soothing low-tempo touch. Best known for producing Zara Larsson's single Lush Life, and remixing Coldplay's Up & Up, the Swiss producer has also worked with the likes of Galantis, and Little Mix.

Fellow French DJ and producer Mercer uses a rumbling breakdown to give the production a real club mix vibe and more prominent bassline than Freedo’s reworking, whilst house duo Benny Kane and Dr Specs, aka. Apexape lace the track with their signature bass-heavy sound. Highlighting the original’s incredible vocals from Finnish breakthrough act ALMA, trap act BROHUG use a stomping breakdown to create a dancefloor destroyer, with Creange rounding off the remix package with a progressive Balearic version of the original production.

With the original of All Stars racking up almost 30 million Spotify plays since release, the single has proved a huge summer hit, especially in Ibiza at Martin’s My House residency at Pacha. A compelling display of Solveig’s multi-faceted sound, intertwined with ALMA’s remarkable vocal prowess, the feel-good anthem flaunts catchy xylophone hooks and a lead bassline, before propelling into an onslaught of brass fanfares and melodic grooves.

Solveig’s latest track follows hot on the heels of his hit single, Places featuring Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen. The single, which is certified Gold in the UK, has achieved over 95 million Spotify streams to date, adding to the success of Solveig’s 2015 single Intoxicated with GTA, which is now certified platinum.

21-year-old Finnish singer/songwriter, ALMA has captivated the music industry with her distinctive vocal abilities. Fresh from winning two awards at the Finish Grammy’s - ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Export’ - she released her single, Chasing Highs this year, which is now sitting on BBC Radio 1’s B List and is climbing up the Top 20 of the iTunes Chart. Armed with her newfound success, ALMA performed at this year’s BBC Radio 1’s Future Festival and was handpicked by Annie Mac to sing at her AMP Collected Night in London.

In addition to his latest single, Solveig’s Pacha Ibiza residency My House proved to be one of the most in-demand events on the island this summer. With support from the likes of MK, Kungs and Armand Van Helden, All Stars has been a firm fixture on Pacha’s legendary dance floor.

Bringing his My House brand to Netherlands on 21 October 2017 as part of ADE, Martin will host his own evening at Escape Amsterdam, with support from The Magician, Kungs, Danny Howard, and Jax Jones.
