MUMBAI: After composing some soul-stirring music for Sharat Katariya's 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', ace music composer and singer, Anu Malik is now working on his next project in Bollywood. Anu Malik is composing music for the next movie of Vishesh Films (owned by brothers, Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt).

"Vishesh Films and I are back together and that’s a huge deal for me," said the music director on #fame.

Anu Malik’s association with the Bhatt brothers is not new. The popular music director has worked with Vishesh Films for over 10 projects, including ‘Jaanam’, ‘Sir’, ‘Najaayaz’, ‘Naraaz’ and ‘Kalyug’. But, it is after a long sabbatical that Anu Malik- Vishesh Films are working together again. Malik said, “Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt always stood by me then and they are there with me now, so I am doing their film.”

Malik has composed over 350 songs for films of different genres and most of his compositions have successfully struck a chord with the audiences. But it is his association with Shahrukh Khan that he believes has been magical so far. “Right from the time of ‘Baazigar’ to ‘Main Hoon Na’, Shah Rukh Khan-Anu Malik’s music combination has always been a hit. Whenever I compose a song for Shah Rukh Khan's film, the audience connects well with it.” It seems that Anu Malik is keen to recreate that magic with Shah Rukh Khan once again. On #fame, the music composer sent a message to Shah Rukh Khan saying, “It is high time we worked together.”
