'Jabra Fan' singer Nakash Aziz sings a Tulu song

MUMBAI: Nakash Aziz who has impressed one and all with his impeccable voice and hit songs like 'Saari K Fall Sa', 'Pungi', ‘Selfie Le Le Re’ and latest chartbuster hit 'Jabra Fan' from SRK starrer 'Fan' and also 'Pyaar Ki' and 'Fake Ishq' from ‘Housefull 3’ has recently recorded a tulu song 'Karbaar Jorundu' for upcoming movie Pilibail Yamunakk.

Nakash's hometown is Mangalore, so it would not be wrong to say that singing a Tulu language song was not an alien zone for him. Nakash is proud of the fact that he is associating with Tulu films with this song. He is also very happy with the way the song has come out.

The music of the film is composed by Kishore Kumar Shetty and the film is slated to release in July. ‘Pilibail Yamunakk’ stars Purab Ambar, Sonal Monteiro, Navin D Padil and Arvind Bolar in prominent roles.

Commenting on the same Nakash says, "I have never been able to say no to an offer from my homeland. I recorded the song in Mumbai, although I can’t fluently speak the language, the nuances comes to me easily because my parents converse in the language when they get nostalgic at home."

Apart from this, Nakash has also turned music composer for an upcoming Bollywood film 'Missing On A Weekend'. Working with AR Rahman who is well - known for his versatile style of music and Pritam da who is known for his commercial approach towards his songs, Nakash has undoubtedly learnt some of their antics in the composition field. After singing for Pritam Da and AR Rahman, the greatest composers our industry has ever witnessed, Nakash is looking forward to compose for 'Missing On A Weekend'.

Commenting on the same, Nakash says “Yes I am composing music for the movie; it feels great when people acknowledge your work and you get an opportunity to extent your hands in the field which you love the most. This will be my debut as a music composer in Bollywood and I am excited for the same. I am amongst the lucky few who have worked with both the masters, Rahman sir and Pritam Da. Every day is a new learning experience for me."

Nakash recently performed at IFFA, Madrid for the third time. He has been performing at IFFA for the past two years.
