DVBBS & Shaun Frank reveal stunning electronic pop track 'La La Land' featuring Delaney Jane

MUMBAI: Dance music hit makers DVBBS & Shaun Frank have come together to create a more eclectic futurepop sound with their latest release La La Land. With this release, both artists are introducing a new direction in their respective sound, making it clear that they want to conquer the charts and radio at the same time as the clubs and festivals.

The dreamy new single for Spinnin’ Records sees DVBBS & Shaun Frank team up with the highly sought after singer/songwriter Delaney Jane – no stranger to Spinnin’ herself – Jane is also featured on the massive hit single Heaven with Shaun Frank & KSHMR, as well as on Frank’s joint efforts with Borgeous (This Could Be Love) and Oliver Heldens (Shades Of Grey), as well as one of the biggest hits of the year L’amour Toujours with Tiesto and Dzeko &Torres.

Jane’s signature vocals glide over graceful piano chords and haunting synth and vocal FX in the intro, with the energy slowly building through heartbeat-style kicks, slick percussion and warm bass. The chorus drops us into a cool, futuristic rhythm with pitch-shifting, cut-up vocal snippets and a rasping, weighty lead line, creating a seriously cutting-edge sound. Lyrically, the vocals speak to the youth of our generation who are seeking to escape their everyday woes for a better more inspiring life, which can be found in ‘La La Land.’

The YouTube teaser has clocked up over 180,000 views in under two days, signalling another big hit for these artists and one that should push them in a whole new direction. Anticipation for the release of this single reached an all-time high after a flawless live performance from DVBBS at the Ultra Miami Mainstage last Saturday where they brought up Shaun Frank & Delaney Jane to premiere the record to the world via Ultra’s Live Stream.
