MUMBAI: In a grand event in Bhopal, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh launched ‘Malhari’, the victory song from Eros International and Bhansali Productions’ magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with huge fanfare. A royal victory march was arranged for Singh, who arrived in style in a buggy along with a bandwagon of 50 Dhol and 50 Tutari players. A massive crowd of 10,000 people cheered and hooted for the actor as he performed to the song that will leave audiences wanting more.

After the stupendous popularity of ‘Gajanana’, ‘Deewani Mastani’ and ‘Pinga’, comes yet another visual spectacle choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. ‘Malhari’ which signifies victory and celebration, comes at a stage in this period drama where Singh as ‘Bajirao’, motivates his soldiers, building confidence and morale in them for future battles. As an expression of happiness, Bajirao and his soldiers break out into ‘Malhari’, forgetting all hierarchy and celebrating yet another big victory.
