Sukhwinder Singh to be guest judge on 'Indian Idol Junior 2'

MUMBAI: ‘Jai Ho’ singer Sukhwinder Singh shares a special bond with Sony Entertainment channel’s ‘Indian Idol’. If you did not know it already, the singer has appeared a few times on the singing reality show as a guest judge and performer. On the upcoming episode, (Saturday, 8 August), the ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ singer will once again make his presence felt on ‘Indian Idol Junior 2’.

The second season of ‘Indian Idol Junior’ will see Singh as the special judge on the reality property. And if sources from the sets of ‘Junior 2’ are to be believed, the contestants made him feel special by singing his Bollywood tracks in the upcoming episode.

An elated Singh is also said to have joined Ranita Banerjee, a contestant from Kolkata, West Bengal, on stage as she sang ‘Haule Haule’ from the film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’.

The award winning singer has been to the ‘Indian Idol’ franchise in its previous seasons. He was first seen on the Grand Finale of ‘Indian Idol Season 3’, where he performed to ‘Chak De India’ on the glamorous outdoor set, specially prepared for the final episode. He also appeared in one episode of ‘Indian Idol Junior Season 1’ in 2013.

Given the fact that Singh has a never ending list of successful Bollywood songs, he will be a treat to watch on the show.
