MUMBAI: Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith has revealed he is suffering from stress.

The 22-year-old told The Sun newspaper that his stress levels have caused him to develop a rash on his body, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I've been itching all over my body for the past week from stress,” he said.

“I'm stressed. I don't know why. I think it's a delayed reaction from the Grammys,” the ‘Stay With Me’ hitmaker added. 

The news comes after Smith announced that he will undergo surgery for his vocal cords.

A few days ago, the British singer took to his Instagram account to inform his fans of his upcoming operation.

Due to his vocal issues, Smith recently cancelled a number of upcoming concerts, including those scheduled in Australia, Philippines and Japan.
