Sahil poised to win 'The Voice India' by consensus

MUMBAI: &TV’s singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ featuring some of India’s best playback singers – Mika, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Himesh Reshammiya - as coaches, has reached its final stage with the semi-final to be telecastedtonight (29 August, 2015), while the finale will air on 30 August, 2015. Yes, the time to declare the winner of this reality property is just some hours away and anxiety levels are reaching their peak.

Radioandmusic.com decided on bringing you the result a little before the finale. When some of ‘The Voice India’s’ former contestants were asked by us to vote for their favourite contestants, this is what we got.

Akshay: Sahil / Sachet

Tanvir: Sahil / Deepesh

Jyotica: Snigdhajit

Sristi: Sahil / Sachet

Pragya: Rishabh / Parampara

Parth: Pawandeep / Rishabh

Arpita: Snigdhajit / Sahil

Mona: Pawandeep / Sahil

Based on this, Sahil came out victorious with the highest number of votes (five), while Sachet, Snigdhajit, Pawandeep and Rishabh got two votes each.

However, we did not stop at this. We also contacted some of the contestants, who are still on the show to see whom they would like to vote for if not themselves. Here are the results:

Sahil: Sahil

Snigdhajit: Snigdhajit

Parampara: Parampara

Pawandeep: Pawandeep/ Rishabh

Deepesh: Sahil/Parampara

In spite of us insisting on these contestants to vote for the others, they couldn’t think of their competitors but themselves as winners. However, a few of them did vote for the others.

On combining these votes with the previous ones, this is how the victory graph turned out to be - Sahil (7 votes), Snigdhajit, Rishabh, Parampara and Pawandeep (3 votes).

Looks like Sahil is not only a clear winner for himself but also for ‘The Voice India’ contestants. Now it remains to be seen who finally takes the trophy back home in the finale episode.
