Priyanka Chopra declines live concert performance for family

MUMBAI: Since embarking on her music career, Priyanka Chopra has done a pretty decent job, releasing three singles, one of which even charted on the Billboard Dance/ Electronic Songs. The Bollywood actress turned singer even managed a spot on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football. But while she's extremely career driven, there is one thing even more important to Chopra- her family.

As per a report in DNA, the 'In My City' singer has been pursued by a number of even organisers to rope her in for a live concert. She was, apparently, even offered Rs 20 crore t perform for an international live concert, which would also feature other international music acts. However, the 32 year old, who is on a rather tight schedule, declined the offer in order to spend time with her family while on vacation.

Post her holiday, Chopra will resume shooting for 'Bajirao Mastani', a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, in which she plays Kashibai.

The 'Exotic' singer recently lent her vocals for a new version of John Lenon's hit 'Imagine'. The track, which also had a video, was part of UNICEF's global campaign that celebrated the silver jubilee of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It also featured other big names like Will.i.am, Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger among many others. Chopra also collaborated with American EDM DJ and producer duo- The Chainsmokers for the track 'Erase'. It was played for the first time to a live audience when the '#Selfie' hitmakers performed for the Supersonic Arcade in Mumbai in November.
