Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar croon the title track of 'Dil Dhadakne Do'

MUMBAI: One of the most anticipated films of the year, 'Dil Dhadakne Do' rolled out its trailer recently, and in just a few hours it went viral. The film's official fan page released the first song, the film's title track, which features Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Shefali Shah and Anil Kapoor. The music of the film is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy (SEL) and lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar.

The track's music video is rather colourful, while the story revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip. While PeeCee has released a few singles like 'In My City' and 'Exotic', this is the first time she has provided vocals for a film track. 'Dil Dhadakne Do' also marks her first duet, which she has sung with Farhan Akhtar.

'Dil Dhadakne Do' sees Akhtar team up with SEL once again. The actor/ director has, in the past, rendered vocals for quite a few SEL compositions. The two actors seemed to have done a decent job on vocals for the track, but it is left to be seen what the full album will sound like.

The film is slated to release on 5 June 2015.
