IRF 'Sound of India' Contest is back

MUMBAI: The fourth annual 'Sound of India' contest is slated to commence on 31 March 2015.  Like in earlier years, the Zurich-based International Radio Festival (IRF), together with Indiantelevision.com group's Radioandmusic.com and Mixcloud.com has teamed up to zoom in on an Indian FM Radio Show and Radio Jockey who will represent Indian radio there. The winning RJ and the show producer will be given an opportunity to showcase their talent alongside other international RJs and DJs present at the IRF Festival in Zurich, Switzerland which will take place in August.

In 2012, Red FM's RJ Malishka dazzled in her red saree with some Bollywood thumkas. In 2013, Radio Mirchi’s RJ Jeeturaaj donned a special radio mask that garnered a lot of international media attention. In 2014, MY FM's RJ Meenakshi presented her international counterparts and other IRF attendees with special gifts that represented India.

The contest is slated to commence on 31 March 2015 to find that lucky Indian RJ who will win an all expenses paid trip (flight and accommodation) to Zurich and rock the audiences at the IRF, broadcasting their show live back to their listeners in India.
