Eight contestants to be eliminated from 'The Voice India'

MUMBAI: &TV's 'The Voice India,' produced by Endemol India, will witness their first live show eliminations tonight(8 August). Thus, two contestants from the unsafe zone will get eliminated from each of the four teams. Apart from that, the coaches will also save their favourites before the next round of elimination.

Last week, the coaches were allowed to save three contestants each from their respective teams. While these contestants had no fear of elimination, the remaining four were open to elimination in case they failed to get enough audience votes.

On tonight’s episode, eight contestants will be eliminated from the show. According to reliable sources, the eliminated contestants are as follows:

Team Mika: Akshay and Harjot

Team Shaan: Arpita and Sana

Team Sunidhi: Gopal and Pragya

Team Himesh: Sakshi and Mona

As per information available with Radioandmusic.com, all four judges - Shaan, Mika, Sunidhi and Himesh - were upset with Arpita’s elimination. In fact, Shaan couldn’t believe that a singer as good as her could get eliminated. Indeed a shocking exit!

Next week, the following contestants will be in the safe zone:

Team Mika: Sahil and Parampara

Team Shaan: Pawandeep and Snigdhajit

Team Sunidhi: Parth and Rishabh
