Coaches' favourites take shortcut to the next round on 'The Voice India'

MUMBAI: &TV’s singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ (Endemol India) that features ace Bollywood singers Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh and Shaan, has found its ‘top 28’ after holding the rather exciting battle-rounds over the last few weeks.

The show has entered a new phase called ‘The Live Show’, in which contestants will survive on the basis of audience votes. However, all is not lost for those contestants that do not get a vote. If they are lucky, and the coaches feel they are worthy of staying in the competition, they could be “saved” from complete elimination.

Spoiler Alert! If you do not want to know what will happen on the upcoming episodes of the ‘The Voice India’, do not read any further.

If sources are to be believed, each coach will be seen saving three of their contestants from getting eliminated in the upcoming episodes. The remaining contestants will be in an unsafe zone, meaning they could get eliminated if they do not get enough audience votes.

However, the brutality does not stop here. Our source further adds, “Each team will lose two contestants during the elimination process.”

Interestingly, we have managed to get the names of the contestants in the safe zone.

Here is the list of the contestants in the safe zone:

Team Mika: Parampara, Jyotica, Sahil

Team Sunidhi: Parth, Rishabh, Oishwaryaa

Team Shaan: Snigdhajit, Pawandeep, Varsha

Team Himesh: Anish, Piyush, Sanjana

This means the following contestants are in the unsafe zone:

Team Mika: Akshay, Harjot, Passang, Ranvir

Team Sunidhi: Gopal, Pragya, Shristi, Vishva

Team Shaan: Akash, Arpita, Ritu, Sana

Team Himesh: Deepesh, Mona, Sakshi, Sachet

Looks like the battle has just begun!
