Aman Trikha: I am happy that Aamir Khan kept his promise

MUMBAI: The 'Hookah Bar' singer Aman Trikha is on cloud nine, as he has recently rendered his vocals for the song 'Aashiq Mizaaj', from the film 'The Shaukeens' featuring Akshay Kumar. The peppy number is composed by the rapper Hard Kaur.

"It was a year back that I met Hard Kaur at an award function and she asked me what I was doing the next day. We sorted out our schedules and recorded the song. The only thing I was told was that it was a peppy number and had to be flamboyant. Within an hour we recorded the number and did not know that the song was coming in 'The Shaukeens'", said Trikha.

Recently the singer crooned the song, 'Khelen' at the opening episode of 'Satyameva Jayate'.

"The last season I was supposed to have my song in 'Satyameva Jayate' series but due to some reasons it did not happen. Aamir khan and Ram Sampath had promised me that I would get a song in the following season. Fortunately, I was given the opening episode and I am very happy that Aamir Khan kept his promise," he further added.

He also sung a romantic number, 'Hum Tumhe Kaise Bataye' in the film 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami'. His vocal skills impressed the composer Ram Sampath so much that the latter calls the singer a 'ballad boy'.
