Aishwarya Nigam finally gets his chance to record for Sunny Leone

MUMBAI: He is best known for peppy tracks like 'Munni Badnaam Hui' from 'Dabangg' and 'Tere Mohalle' from 'Besharam'. With 'Daaru Peeke Dance', Aishwarya Nigam once again has come up with an upbeat song for the film 'Kuch Kuch Locha Hai'. Singing with him on the track is 'Sunny Sunny' famed singer Neha Kakkar. The track is composed by Amjad Nadeem and lyrics are penned by Sameer Anjaan.

“I have been friends with Amjad and Nadeem for a long time now and they called me to sing the song. Also, right from the time Sunny Leone came into the industry; I always wanted to sing for her. I was told that it is a party number and since I have sung these kinds of tracks, it was not difficult. We wrapped up the recording in 45 minutes,” said Nigam.

The 25 year old is also known for his admiration of Sonu Nigam, which is why he even changed his second name to Nigam. When asked what the one piece of advice the veteran singer has given him, Nigam said, “He is yet to give me that one piece, and he promised me he will be doing so when we meet next. I am eager to meet him,” he added.

Apart from Bollywood projects, he has also crooned four songs for the television series, which will be aired on Doordarshan. The television series is based on the farmers of India. Singing stalwarts like Suresh Wadkar and Sadhna Sargam have also rendered their vocals for the same.

The film 'Kuch Kuch Locha Hai' will release on 8 May, 2014 and features Sunny Leone, Ram Kapoor, Evelyn Sharma and Navdeep Chabbra in lead roles.
