Aditya Paudwal and Preetika Rao recreate 'Na Tum Humein Jano'

MUMBAI: Aditya Paudwal, son of veteran singer- Anuradha Paudwal, has teamed up with popular TV show actress Preetika Rao, for a single. The track, which is a remake of the song ‘Na Tum Humein Jano’, has been rearranged by Paudwal and has vocals by Rao, who also features in the music video of the track.

“I have known Preetika for a long time as she used to learn music from my mother, and she has a brilliant voice texture. Old romantic melodies suit her voice, which is why we thought of rearranging ‘Na Tum Humein Jano’ from the film ‘Baat Ki Ek Raat’,” said Paudwal. And like any proud composer, he is elated with the way Rao has crooned the song, and hopes that people will like the track.

Pudwal, who hails from musical family –his mother, a renowned singer, and his father, Arun Paudwal, a renowned composer –started learning music at a very early age. “I started learning while I was very young, but the best part was that my parents did not force me to like a particular genre of music, just because they felt it was good. They have always allowed us to experience the realities of life,” he explained.

According to his mother, people can become successful in this industry only when they go through the process of rejection, and then working harder at their craft. “My mother always tells me, that if you have to become successful in this industry, you will have to go through the grinding process that every new comer goes through. So she guides us, but does not keep us protected, and lets us gain experience so that we grow up to be stronger,” he revealed.

Paudwal, who completed his diploma in music composition from New York University, he has been working as a co-producer with the likes of AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Anu Malik, Nadeem Shravan, Sandesh Shandaliya, Shamir Tandon, Taufiq Qureshi and Ranjit Barot. He has also been a part of a few indie bands like Tapasya, Fuzonika and Mumbai Stamp.
