MUMBAI: After the success of his previous track “Mere Ho Tum” composer Rishi Kumar released his next single called “Yaad”. The track is beautifully composed by the very talented Rishi Kumar and is sung beautifully by Gowri TP. Gowri TP has previously sung for Tamil film 96 and she was the second Runner’s up at the Airtel Super Singer. Rishi Kumar is a big fan of late Avicii and his song “Yaad” is a perfect dedication to the late music artist. This track is a perfect blend of EDM and some Indian instruments like Tabla and Santoor. The officially released on the 31st of March 2022.

Speaking about the track Rishi Kumar says “ This is a soulful, emotional EDM track with an influence of Indian classical instruments (Santoor & Tabla), heavily inspired by "Heaven" by Avicii. The girl is trying to express her feelings for her lover who has died and crying her heart out at how miserable and distant, she is now. She doesn't believe in love as he is not with her and she is only left with memories. Though he took her to a beautiful place before dying and though it's beautiful she can only cry as he is not with her.
