Singer Rukhsar on debut single 'Apni Jagah'

MUMBAI: Born and brought up in Mumbai, singer Rukhsar who has been a versatile singer/performer who started her acting career in a YRF movie called Mardaani besides Rani Mukerjee has recently released her debut single called 'Apni Jagah' which she has rendered vocals for.

The song has been much appreciated by the audience as Rukhsar added, "Earlier I did not know hpw people would react to the song but once the track was released I suddenly saw people sharing it on scial media. Also my I have been getting so many comments on my YouTube page. It was overwhelming to witness such a great response by the audience. That’s when I truly realized it was a right decision to be producing new music."

She further added, "My friends who heard this song too were very proud of me and moreover even Kunaal Vermaa and Mann Taneja who have written and composed the song were very supportive of me and we all got along really well for the track."

Song Apni Jagah is now available on all music streaming platforms like Gaana, Spotify.

Meanwhile Rukhsar is busy working on her projects and is soon to bring original content on the forefront. Meanwhile she gives a dive into her past on how her passion of singing turned into her full-time profession. She explained, "Earlier I debuted as an actor for Mardaani after which I realized my true calling happened to be singing. Eventually my hobby 'singjng' turned into passion and then I took it up as a profession. I took some classical training from my guru- Shah Hussain Khan . I started doing shows. My first big gig was with Abhijeet Sawant and then later I got into doing shows with Indian Idol contestants. I also performed with Tulsi Kumar at the IIFA and did jingles with Ajay Atul, and have recorded for T-Series too."

"It's been five years for me in the industry but honestly it doesn't seem that long," shared an overwhelmed Rukhsar.

While apart from making new music the singer is also into watching inspirational movies amid this coronavirus pandemic.
