MUMBAI: Katy Perry decided to clown around a bit with the cover reveal of her fifth album on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. The singer challenged fans to help her "find my smile" by playing a game in which they had to tweet to pop virtual balloons in order to uncover the title of the record due out on Aug. 14. Industrious and thirsty for the image, KatyCats quickly revealed the instantly iconic picture of KP as a glum clown with a red nose and a blue and white checkered suit above the title, Smile.

So far, Perry has released a handful of songs that could appear on the album, including "Never Worn White," "Daisies" and has mentioned the tracks "Teary Eyes" and "What Makes a Woman" in interviews.

She captioned, “Step right up! Step right up! KP5 is called #SMILE ”

“I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile. This whole album is my journey towards the light - with stories of resilience, hope, and love. Listen to the song at midnight local time Friday, July 10 and pre-order the album at the link in bio. ”
