FWICE writes letter to Ministry of External Affairs, appeals to cancel Diljit Dosanjh's visa

MUMBAI:  Popular Punjabi singer, actor Diljit Dosanjh, was supposed to perform in the US on 21 September at a show promoted by Pakistani national Rehan Siddiqi. But looks like this choice by Dosanjh has created a friction between the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and his performance in the US.
Dosanjh has been asked by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to 'cancel his commitment in the interest, sentiments, and dignity of the nation'.
While FWICE wrote a letter to Dosanjh, they also wrote a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs for canceling Dosanjh and his troupe’s VISA in case he doesn’t cancel his tour.
