Salim-Sulaiman's 'Hum Rahein Ya Na Rahein' traces traditional melody

MUMBAI: Salim-Sulaiman’s Hum Rahein Ya Na Rahein, an original number from the musical play Umrao Jaan Ada has released today!

This song is composed and produced by Salim-Sulaiman, while it is penned by Irfan Siddiqui, and sung by Pratibha Singh Baghel.

 Hum Rahein Ya Na Rahein is created in a way that can take you back to the time of old melodious songs. The entire empty, deserted landscape paired with loud outfits and traditional music instruments and tunes give a 70s-80s vibe. The use of instruments like sitar, tabla and duff add to the melodious tune. It also features Pratibha donning some stylish outfits as she is seen lip-synching to the lyrics.

Salim-Sulaiman have done a fabulous job once again by creating a pure melody, which will surely top list of traditional tune lovers.

The song beautifully speaks of eternal and undying love. Irfan’s lyrics add to the emotional quotient of the track. It’s for every lover, who knows the meaning of true love!
