MUMBAI: Recently released Arjun Kanungo’s song, Woh Baarishein has created a huge buzz with the song crossing 19 million views in just a few days.

Aaya Na Tu fame Arjun Kanungo has garnered a huge success with his independent songs and now with Woh Baarishein, he has nailed another hit.

“Journey of this song has been amazing, with Manoj Muntashir sir being part of the project. Everything just happened really quickly and the process of this song was beautiful right from the beginning. Shriya Pilgaonkar who has featured in the track was a perfect choice for this. The track required looking like an honest drama and Woh Baarishein gave that perfect look.”

When we asked Kanungo to choose his favourite song from Aaya Na Tu or Woh Baarishein, he said, “Of course Woh Baarishein! People say songs are like your children, nothing like that. I will choose always the latest one. In fact, songs are like girlfriends, the latest one is more important. It needed to look like drama but honest drama, it could happen to anybody.”

With abundant projects lined up, Kanungo gave us a hint on his next one, “My next song is written by Mayur Puri and another one is a party song, which marks an association with a big collaborative.”
